🤔️ Despite its reputation as the “most beautiful Yadan landform”, many visitors claim that the Devil’s City is unbearably hot and sunny, offering little more than photo ops. However, this perception often arises from a lack of understanding of how to fully enjoy this unique destination. Here are four crucial tips to ensure a seamless and enriching experience: 🕐 Choosing the Right Time: In summer, it is advisable to enter the scenic area after 19:00 and spend 3-4 hours exploring. The soft rays of the setting sun are ideal for photography, and the scenic route is mostly unobstructed. It’s crucial to avoid the intense midday sun. 🚗 Exploration Methods: Given the vast size of the scenic area, walking is not recommended. Instead, there are two main ways to explore: 🔹 Taking the Scenic Train: (Ticket price: ¥42 per person, train fee: ¥20 per person) This train covers a core route of 9.8 kilometers, with five stops. It operates in a one-way loop, ensuring no backtracking, and provides electronic audio commentary. Trains depart every 15 minutes or when full. 🔹 Self-Drive: (Price: ¥100 per person, including ticket and train fee) Visitors can enter through a designated self-drive entrance. Apart from driving on the off-road route, they can also park at the third checkpoint and continue their journey on the scenic train, offering a more flexible experience. 🤹 Entertainment Options: 🔸 Glider Rides: Available at Stop 1, priced at ¥580 per person. These flights offer an immersive experience, lasting approximately 10 minutes. 🔸 Off-Road Vehicles: Also at Stop 1, priced at ¥160 per person. These vehicles take you deep into the scenic area, offering thrilling rides over undulating terrain. 🔸 Camel Rides: Available at Stop 2, priced at ¥150 per camel (individuals taller than 1.2m must ride alone). These rides offer a leisurely circuit, lasting about 10 minutes. 📌 Notes: ▪️ Restaurants are located outside the scenic area entrance, while small shops inside provide fruits, cold drinks, and snacks. ▪️ Sun protection is essential! Additionally, due to the windy conditions, it’s advisable to wear hats with wind cords. 🔎 Explore further…
