❤️ Nestled in the Nankai District of Tianjin, the Tianjin Water Park is a comprehensive and vast green space renowned for its scenic water features. Comprising three major lakes – the East, West, and South Lakes, interspersed with eleven islands, it truly deserves its namesake. Spanning an area of 125 hectares, with 75 hectares dedicated to water bodies and 50 hectares of land, it boasts a lush green coverage of 350,000 square meters.
The park’s attractions are numerous and diverse, ranging from Children’s Playground and Crystal Plaza to碧波庄 (the Green Wave Pavilion), Penjing Garden, Kobe Garden, and the Water Amusement Park. Additionally, there’s the Zoo, Tiaoyuan Pavilion, and more, each offering a unique perspective of the park’s natural beauty.
❤️ Tianjin Water Park, renowned as one of the Ten Scenic Spots of Tianjin and often likened to the Little West Lake of the North, showcases its waterscapes as its crowning glory. Surrounded by verdant trees, the lakes are adorned with blooming lotus flowers, reflecting the beauty of the islands and the distant Tiaoyuan Pavilion. Seven stone arch bridges and numerous imitation Ming and Qing dynasty buildings compete in elegance, while three Ming and Qing-style promenades are embedded amidst the lush greenery.
The park’s southern and northern sections are vast landmasses, with the central area dominated by the expansive water bodies. The eleven islands are connected by arched bridges, curved bridges, flat bridges, and peach and willow embankments. The reflection of the red-tiled pavilions on the rippling waters creates a picturesque scene. The various scenic areas, such as Cuidi Lansheng, Taoliu Yichun, Qiuyu Qingshuang, and Dongyixueyun, highlight the seasonal changes, contributing to the unique charm of this “Northern West Lake, Aquatic Seasons” world.

2. Take buses 643, 705 West Line, 857, 871, 872, 879, or Sightseeing Bus 2 and get off at Zhou Deng Memorial Hall for a short walk to the west or north entrance.
3. Take buses 35, 668, 705 West Line, 857, 871, or 879 and get off at Tianjin Water Park East Gate Station for the east entrance.
4. Take buses 12, 52, 608, 685, 835, 879, 901, Express Bus 1, or Express Bus 2 and get off at Zoo Station for the west entrance.
5. Take buses 52, 608, 685, 835, 901, 963, Express Bus 1, or Express Bus 2 and get off at Shidai Aocheng Station for the south entrance.
