Embarking on a scenic journey from Taiyuan, the two children accompanied us with their playful antics, making the distance seem scarcely perceptible. Departing at noon, we indulged in a few snacks and refreshments along the way, before arriving at the scenic spot at half past three in the afternoon.
As evening drew near, we embarked on a serene boat ride, gliding over the serene waters. The cobblestone pathways led us through narrow streets adorned with oil-paper umbrellas, revealing a panorama of uniform ancient buildings. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by various cultural activities, allowing us to appreciate the scenery while enjoying the performances, which were tightly scheduled and captivating.
Longquan Ancient Town, situated at the intersection of Huai’an West Road and Shanqian Avenue in Luquan District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, stands as a comprehensive museum of ancient architecture and an immersive cinema experience. Designated as a 5A-level scenic area, it boasts three streets and five lanes, as well as distinct cultural districts, such as Ming and Qing-style streets, Republic of China-themed districts, and a film and television shooting base.
