Advance reservations are required for Xiong’an Impression, which can be made through the official GZH预约 platform accessible via the WX mini-program. Each hour is designated as a separate time slot, and each mobile number is limited to reserving for one individual. Inside, the museum showcases the past, present, and future of Xiong’an with cutting-edge technology. There are also interactive areas that are particularly engaging for children. Expect to spend approximately one hour exploring.
📍Second Stop: Yanjiyou Coffee Bookstore
This sizable bookstore offers a cozy atmosphere for adults to enjoy a cup of coffee by the window, while children can find their favorite picture books to read quietly. The 3D naked-eye screen outside the bookstore is a major attraction, particularly during the New Year, when a cute dinosaur spits bubbles in a lifelike manner, drawing the admiration of young visitors.
📍Third Stop: Yuerong Park
This vast park, designed in the style of Chinese gardens, is a prime destination for leisure activities. However, one minor inconvenience is the limited parking space, so it’s advisable to secure a spot outside the park before entering.
🍚Dining Experience
Originally planning to try the local specialty of Baijia Zhaobing, we were unable to due to the crowd. Instead, we settled for bibimbap at a nearby mall, which had a retro feel reminiscent of two decades ago. This burgeoning city, with its sparse population, minimal traffic, and pristine environment, is an ideal choice for a weekend road trip.
Due to time constraints, we had to postpone our visit to the郊野 Park and the night views of the Xiong’an Eye for a future occasion. Nevertheless, this trip was a fulfilling exploration of Xiong’an’s unique charm.
