Our journey to Inner Mongolia at the end of July last year was indeed an exquisitely delightful experience. The beauty of the region, needless to say, is breathtaking, defying any mere description with words. Alas, my limited vocabulary fails me in attempting to encapsulate its magnificence. To simplify matters, we opted for a group tour, and fortunately, we stumbled upon a highly reliable one. The arrangements for accommodation, transportation, and entertainment were impeccable, with no hidden costs. Consequently, our trip was filled with unbridled joy and amazement, a testament to our immense good fortune.
I must commend the exceptional value for money offered by this tour. It was highly recommended by a friend, and my confidence in it was well-placed. Prior to our departure, I had spent considerable time preparing myself mentally for the adventure ahead. Our itinerary was meticulously planned, offering a diverse array of experiences.
Here’s a brief overview of our journey:
- D1: Gathering in Hailar for the entire day
- D2: Exploring the Morigle River, Asia’s largest wetland, participating in the salt-dipping ceremony of the Russian ethnic group, visiting the Reindeer Park, and admiring the sunset in the secret realm of Beishan
- D3: Embarking on a journey through the Valley of the Wind in Enhe, exploring the border, dressing up as Mongolians, feeding lambs, riding on a grassland train and horseback, enjoying a whole roasted lamb, watching the sunset over the grassland, and participating in a bonfire party
- D4: Visiting the Black Mountain, sliding down the grassy slopes of the 186 Color Belt River, exploring the Hulun Lake, and touring the Doll Square and the Gate of the Country (exterior view) in Manzhouli
- D5: Enjoying the “Dance of Horses” performance in Manzhouli before dispersing in Hailar
Reflecting on my personal experience, I offer the following insights:
- Avoid opting for extremely cheap tour packages as they often come with hidden costs. Remember, you get what you pay for, and trying to save a few pennies may lead to significant losses in the long run. The money you save on the tour package may be recouped through other means.
- The tour leader plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall experience. I was fortunate to have an exceptional leader who not only provided insights into the various attractions but also captured beautiful photographs of us.
- One of the primary benefits of joining a tour group is the freedom it affords to fully enjoy oneself without worrying about the details. This trip was a resounding success, and the group’s relaxed atmosphere allowed us to savor every moment without rushing. The absence of restrictive rules and regulations meant we had ample time to explore and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Inner Mongolia.
I hope my experiences and insights can serve as valuable references for those planning their own adventures to Inner Mongolia. May your journey be filled with joy and laughter, and may you avoid any pitfalls! #InnerMongoliaGroupTour #InnerMongoliaTravel #InnerMongoliaGrassland #Grassland #SummerTravel #JiugeOutdoorTravel #HorseRiding #GrassSliding #Hulunbeir
