We had arranged to visit a hot spring with our girlfriends, initially intending to book another resort. However, due to the lateness of our decision and the limited availability, we ended up at the Lianyun Valley Hot Spring Hotel. Travel: We drove from Rui’an, a journey of approximately two hours. The mountainous area was shrouded in a dense fog, rendering visibility virtually nonexistent. Hence, those traveling by car must exercise utmost caution. Accommodation: We booked a room package that included tickets to the hot spring at the Lianyun Valley Hotel. Given that it was the Spring Festival, there was an additional 200 yuan surcharge. As three of us shared a room, we also paid an extra 100 yuan for exceeding the maximum capacity and 70 yuan for upgrading from a double bed to a standard room, which accommodated us comfortably. Hot Spring Experience: We only indulged in one of the pools as the fish spa area emitted an unpleasant odor, prompting us to skip it. Additionally, the medicinal baths were too small for our liking, and the crowd was quite dense. The adjacent infinity pool was frigid, so we settled for a less crowded pool, soaking for approximately half an hour before returning to the hotel. It’s crucial to bring your own cold medication as the hotel only provided a limited supply, and I, with my weak immune system, ended up with a severe cold. Dining: With our hotel meal card, we enjoyed a 10% discount at the neighboring farmhouse restaurant. The prices were reasonable, and the food was passable. Our group of five spent around 300 yuan, with the fried snails being a highlight that we even took back to the hotel for a nightcap. The next morning, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast included in our package. Contrary to our expectations of plain buns and soy milk, it offered a diverse selection of both Chinese and Western cuisine, making it a satisfying meal before checking out at 12 noon and heading home with hearts content.Hashtags: #HotSpringHotel #HotSpringVacation #WenzhouSurroundingTour #WinterHotSpringDestination #SurroundingTourBenefits #TaishunTourism #TaishunHotSpring #HotSpringPhotography #InfinityHotSpringPool #JiangsuZhejiangShanghaiSurroundingTour
