After countless attempts to memorize the preface to the Tengwang Pavilion, I finally arrived at this renowned site in Nanchang, Jiangxi, with eager anticipation. The scenic beauty of the pavilion, where the setting sun and solitary wild ducks flew together, and the autumn waters merged seamlessly with the vast sky, was truly breathtaking. Upon encountering the ticket seller, I couldn’t help but chuckle as she suggested purchasing a ticket, acknowledging my diligent efforts in memorizing the preface. It was a hilarious yet memorable moment that added to the charm of my visit to Tengwang Pavilion.
